Sing the song “I love going hiking”
Knowledge aims: 1.To listen, speak, read and write Let’s read, and complete the exercise. 2. To understand Read and match, Read nad draw, Read and match.3. To Finish Let’s find out, let’s play.
Emotion aims: To foster Ss to love animals and nature.
Learning strategies: To use the language bravely and communicate in real situations.

This unit is a revision for 3 units. The main aim is help Ss consolidate the knowledge. It emphasizes the integrated use of language and foster Ss abilities to use English to do some things. So when doing the exercises , let Ss review the relevant knowledge for consolidation. And extend what they learn.

First, have a chant for revision. Then let Ss read the dialogue with questions. Let Ss choose tick or cross and say out reasons. Let Ss find out public places. Finally, let Ss sing the song .

Step 1 Warm up
1. Greetings.
2. Sing the song “What are you doing?
3. Preview.
Ask one S to choose a card and act the action out, the other Ss say: ” He is……/ She is……. If the answer is right, S1:“Yes, I’m ….” If the answer is wrong the S1: “No. I’m ….”
Step 2.Presentation and practice
T shows the picture:“The dog is swinging; The monkey is dancing; The elephant is counting the apples; The bears are fighting.”
Ss say what say saw.
Listen to “Read and match” and imitate.  
Ss read the text by themselves.
Match and then ask and answer in groups.
Act the dial.
Step 3 Consolidations and Extension.

Use the verb cards or do the action.
Step 2.Presentation
1. T shows the poster of Read and draw. Guess:What is Sarah doing? Ss: “Sarah is watching insects.” T: “Is she watching insects? Maybe. Who have different ideas?”
2.Look at the pictures and talk about the pictures. 
 eg: “Chen Jie is collecting leaves.” Then Ss draw on their book.
3. Finish the blanks.
 Then look at the blanks and ask and answer.
Step 3 Practice
  T ask some Ss describe the 4 seasons according to the pictures and the reading material, make a preparation for the reading.
 To talk about 2 seasons in the class and then let them to write a passage about seasons after class.
Read and write.
Read by yourself and fill in the form.
Say something about the form.
Eg: It is Sunday afternoon. My mother is…, my father is…
Listen and imitate.
