Lesson18 Lost in the City
一、教学目标
1、知识及技能目标：
1）、读懂这个小故事。
2）、回忆并能够运用问路指路的这些语言。
2、情感态度：
当别人迷路时，你要热心帮助他。
3、学习策略：
1）、培养小组合作的能力。
2）、看图获取信息的能力。
3）、猜词，找读，略读等阅读能力。
二、教学重、难点
教学重点：
学生能够借助于图片读懂故事，并能把故事演一演。
教学难点：
阅读策略渗透以及阅读策略的运用

Class opening and review

Pre-- reading
1. Show some pictures. Demonstrate the new words and phrases.

2.Fill in the blanks.
【设计思路】看图说单词，再进行单词填字母，复习了旧知识，又了解了生单词，为阅读故事扫清障碍。
While- reading
1..Look through the pictures ，What animals do you see in the story?
［设计意图：快速读图，找到故事中的主要人物，培养他们从图上捕捉信息的阅读策略。］
2.Listen to the story and follow it , then find the relations between them.
3.Listen and read, then fill in the blanks.
［设计意图：通过读课文，找到主要人物之间的关系，并能够把关键词填出来，这是对故事整体内容的初步了解。］
4. Read the story and find the answers.
1）. Who lives in the city?
2）. How many animals does the cat meet?Who are they？
3）. Who helps the cat find the NICE house?
【设计意图】：通过回答问题，让学生进一步理清故事的整体脉络，也为最后的角色扮演做准备。］
Post – reading
1.Retell the story.
The cat has a sister.
Her sister lives in the city.
She is going to visit her, but she got lost.
So she asks the way.

Finally, she gets to the NICE house.
Her sister is happy to see her.
【设计意图】：考虑到故事中学生对小猫咪的自述理解起来有困难，所以我把故事的内容缩成了一段概括性的文字，让学生按照脉络复述故事，并让他们反复的诵读，再一次为稍后的故事表演做铺垫。

【设计意图】：演故事，体验成就感，激发持续学习英语的兴趣。
Homework：
1. Read the story in different roles.
2. Tell the story to your partner.
3. Make up a story — “Lost in the ______”.
四、教学总结
本节课采用的是这样的教学模式：before reading:激活已知，while reading:阅读技巧，阅读方法的渗透，教师导读：让孩子跟着我有兴趣的读懂故事。 after reading：运用这个故事，做一些show，体现反馈。
