【教学内容】Unit4 B Read and write.
【内容分析】 (1)本单元是四年级下册的第四单元,学习的主题是参观农场。以Mike,Sarah,Chen Jie 参观农场的情景为主线,呈现本单元要学习的词汇和句型。   本课是这个单元的第六课时,学生在前四课时中已经学习了有关蔬菜和农场动物的词汇,并且学习了主句型 :What are these/those? They are…. Are these/those….? Yes, they are./No, they aren’t. These are….在此基础上学习本课内容。 (2)本课教学内容分为读、写两部分:  a. 第一部分Read and tick.要求学生借助图片阅读四段文段 ,完成Read and tick 活动。 通过不同层次的阅读活动培养学生的阅读能力。   b.第二部分为有意义的句子书写活动,分两个步骤:第一步为看图、读句子;第二步为个性化书写活动,要求学生模仿例句画图并写出相应的句子。 此部分的目的是让学生在有意义语境中抄写句子或者根据图片或生活实际填写句子,以复习巩固本单元所学核心词汇和句型,强调句子的规范书写。 学情分析 (1)四年级的学生已经学习了1年多的英语,具备了一定的英语学习能力和英语思维能力。大多数学生活泼好动,在课堂上表现欲强,关注自己学习的体验,对于老师具体的评价能产生共鸣。 (2)本课内容中涉及到的话题、词汇和句型,学生们在学习前几课时已经了解和学习过,在三年级时也学习过有关水果、食物、和动物的一些词汇,在拓展活动能更好的输出。 (3)在前三个单元中已经接触了句子的规范书写,但是在实际书写句子中仍会出现首字母不大写,单词间距太窄或太宽、忘记标点符号等问题,需要老师的耐心讲解和正确指导。
【教学目标】
1.能够在图片的帮助下读懂短文,在语境中理解新词:garden , goat , eat 的意思。
2.能借助图片、运用速读和跳读等方法来理解文章意思;
3.能以模仿的方式来初步感知连读和句子升降调现象并正确朗读文章。
4.能以小组合作的学习方式来运用语言,并能够在有意义的语境中仿写句子These/Those are...
5.情感目标:
(1)积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务,运用所学的知识进行表达与交流,并投入到各项活动中.
(2)让学生养成不挑食多吃蔬菜和水果的好习惯;保护动物,人与动物和谐共处。
【教学重点】
1、巩固学习本单元的主要句型和词汇。
2、培养学生的阅读能力,帮助学生正确规范地在有意义的语境中仿写句子These/Those are...
【教学难点】
1.能够在有意义的语境中正确书写和运用These/Those are...
2.能够会读并理解They love to eat carrots,及…love to eat…的运用。
【教学步骤】
一、Warm-up
1. Greetings
T: Hello, boys and girls. Do you like songs? Let’s enjoy“Old MacDonald had a farm”and answer: Which animals can you see?
【设计意图】让学生带着任务欣赏与本课时相关的农场动画片,更激发了学生学习新知识的欲望。歌曲活跃了课堂气氛,简单的问候拉近了师生间的距离。
二、Pre-reading
1. Can you read the words about farm?
Let’s see whose eyes are sharp enough to read the words quickly and correctly.
Sharp eyes:
1. PPT快速出现蔬菜和动物单词,学生看见后快速说出。
2.复习句子These/ Those are...
Do you like tomatoes? Can you guess which vegetables are these?
3.通过猜谜练习Are they...
【设计意图】利用游戏复习动物和蔬菜的单词和句型,激发学生相关的知识储备,为本节课的综合运用语言做好铺垫。
三、While reading
1. First reading速读文段,找出主题。
T: The tomatoes are yummy. Mike wants to pick up the tomatoes. Can you guess: Where is he? Read the text quickly and answer the questions.
Ss: He is at MacDonald’s farm.
T: How do you know? Read the sentences please.
Let’s go with him. OK?
【设计意图】学生读课文并在文中找到答案所在的句子,解决Mike的介绍,培养学生迅速找出文章的相关信息,掌握阅读策略。
2.Second reading 认真阅读课文,回答问题。
(1)T: Read the text again. Please find and circle the pictures of the vegetables and animals.
Ask the students to read the sentences:
. These are carrots and potatoes.
. Those are tomatoes and green beans over there.
. They are sheep.
.No, they are goats.
No, they are goats. goat — boat row a boat.
【设计意图】学生圈出蔬菜和动物图片并读出所在的句子,培养学生能够在图片的帮助下读懂短文的能力。
Let’s look at the pictures 1 and 2.
T: What are these?
Ss: They are carrots and tomatoes.
T: What are those?
Ss: They’re tomatoes and green beans.
T: There are all vegetables. So this is the vegetable garden. (repeat)
This is a flower garden. Go to the garden, water the flowers.
情感教育:吃蔬菜有益健康。
(2)Look at the pictures3 and 4.
T: What are these?
Ss: They are sheep.
T: Are those sheep?
Ss: No, they are goats.
3.Third reading细读课文,跳读选择相对应的文本图片。
(1) How many sheep does Mr. MacDonald have?           
(2) Who loves to eat carrots?
同时教授贴句子:They love to eat carrots.教授eat的发音。Eat some bread.
练习Look!The goats love to eat carrots.The___love to eat____.突破了难点. 【设计意图】理解短文意义,关注文段的细节。
情感教育:人与动物和平共处。
4.Listen and repeat注意语音语调。
【设计意图】模仿跟读,让学生能够按照正确的语音、语调朗读课文,培养学生良好的语音素养,突破本节课的重点。

3.展示句子的书写规则,老师黑板上示范写四会句子,要求学生用手指和老师一起写,之后学生在练习本上写,指导学生书写的规范。突破了难点.

五、Extension
After visited farm, Mike want to design own farm. Can you help him?
What should he have on the farm? Let us talk about in groups.
Homework:
1. Design your own farms, draw some vegetables or animals and write 2 sentences.
2. Listen and read P43 three times and try to retell.
