PEP四年级下册Unit 5   My clothes  ( Revision 2 )
Teaching aims:
1.Review the key words: clothes, hat, shirt, pants, dress, coat, shorts, sweater, socks, jacket.
2. The students can use the following sentences to ask and answer the objects’owner:
Is this …’s? Yes,it is. / No, it isn’t.
Are these yours? Yes,they are./ No,they aren’t.
Whose … is this? It’s mine.
Whose … are these? They are …’s.
Important goal: The second goal.
Difficult goal: The differences between this/ these, that / those.
Prepared: word cards, videos, PPT, DAEMON Tools Lite and teaching DVD(虚拟光驱和教学光盘)
Teaching process:
Step 1 Warm- up
1.TPR: Walking,walking  (play the video)
2.Clothing Show:
T: Today we have a clothing show in our class. Look, the modals are coming! Welcome! ( The little modals are coming. Then they introduce their clothes and ask: What colour is my …?) 
Step 2 Review the words
1. Activity :Shark eyes. (Read the words of Unit 5.)
2.PPT shows the pictures. Ss read the words together.
3. T: I like this red skirt .What about you?(ppts show some skirts and pants)
   Girls: I like this …skirt.
   Boys: I like these …pants.
Step 3 Review the key sentences
1.T: You’ve made so many beautiful clothes.A hat, a shirt ,a dress…(put up the cards)Which one do you like?
 S:I like …
T:Are these yours? /Is this yours?
S:Yes,they are./No,they aren’t./Yes,it is./No, it isn’t.
2.Guess game 1:Whose …is this?/ Whose …are they?(PPT)(Yao Ming, Xiao Shenyang…)
3.Guess game 2: Whose …is this?/ Whose …are they?(PPT)
(The owners are the students in Class 4.)
4.Work in pairs and practice asking and answering.
 
Step 4 Extension.
1.Use DAEMON Tools Lite to play the story .
2.Use DAEMON Tools Lite to play the song This old hat. Then change the lyrics.
3.Play the video the clothing song.
