一、教学目标
1、知识与能力目标:
(1)学生将完成七项活动来证明他们各自的听、说、读、写技能。
(2)学生将要完成一个表明在此单元他们进步程度的自我评价表。
2、学习策略
(1)、通过创设情境培养学生运用学过的交际用语创编对话。
(2)、借助线索培养学生的写作技能。
(3)、通过示范朗读来培养学生有感情朗读与表演的技能。
3、情感目标
在小组合作完成教学活动中培养学生的团队合作精神。
二、教学重、难点
(一)教学重点:
要求学生听懂、会说、认读和书写本单元词汇以及相关的问答句。
(二)教学难点:
能灵活运用四季知识进行交流,特别是对比加拿大和中国冬天的异同之处。
三、教学过程
Step I: Warm up
Enjoy the pictures of four seasons.
Let’s read and enjoy a poem!
【设计意图】:通过欣赏诗歌开启课堂教学,让学生体会英文的美感。

【设计意图】:通过书上六道测试题检查学生对知识的掌握情况,包括:听力,单词,回答问题,表演等从多角度了解学生的薄弱点。
Step III.Reading more!
Make a snowman packed with personality!
What you’ll need: 
Lawn lounge chair, large pair boxers, carrot, sunglasses, red licorice or yarn, hat, plastic cup, orange slice, drinking straw, rocks.
How to make it:
1. Place the chair where you want the snowman to be in your yard. 
2. Roll a large ball to be the belly, about 2½ feet tall, and place it on the chair. 
3. Pull the boxers over the ball with the leg openings toward the bottom. Line up a row of smaller balls at the leg openings of the boxers and smooth
them together to form the legs. Add a bit on the end of each for the feet.
4. Add a smaller ball on top of the body for the head. Position the carrot nose and the sunglasses, and make a mouth of licorice. Add the hat. 
5. Make arms by smoothing a few smaller balls on either side of the belly. Nestle a frosty drink near the end of his arm and garnish with fruit.
Put a few rocks in the cup to keep it from blowing away.

Step IV. How am I doing?

【设计意图】:通过听说读写四个方面进行评价,综合考察学生在学校在家的表现情况。

四、教学总结
在本课中学生从听说读写四个方面进行了复习,在情境中运用单词,回答问题。通过查字典小组合作理解文本制作个性雪人是复习中的突破。孩子们通过复习检查到自身的薄弱点,可以及时弥补欠缺。
