一、教学目标
1.知识与技能目标
(1)能够认读、理解和运用下列句子“What do you want to buy?”“Are you going to give gifts?”“What would you like for Christmas?”
(2)能在教师创设的情景中,根据提供的语言材料用英语进行简单的购买圣诞礼物的交流。
(3)能运用阅读策略,根据课文内容,正确回答课文问题。
2.情感态度目标
(1)通过小组合作,培养合作精神和主动竞争的意识。
(2)关心身边的家人和朋友,知道在重要的节日要送给亲人、朋友礼物。
3.学习策略目标:
通过体验式的学习活动,激发听、说英语的兴趣,培养注意观察,乐于模仿的学习习惯。
4.文化意识目标:
了解西方人过圣诞节买礼物的一些文化习俗

1.重点:理解并运用重点句型:“What do you want to buy?”“Are you going to give gifts?”“What would you like for Christmas?”
2.难点:在教师创设的情景中,运用所学的语言材料积极进行交流。

Warming-up and review
1. Sing a song: We wish you a Merry Christmas
2. Match the words with the right pictures.

【设计意图】以歌曲导入新课,营造圣诞节就要到来的氛围,使师生都能以良好的精神状态投入到英语学习的氛围之中。同时一个简单的连线题复习上节课的内容。

出示图片展现重点句,师生、生生问答操练。
