一、教材分析:
七年级英语Unit8 When is your birthday? Section B。本单元围绕“talk about dates”这一话题,主要学习运用序数词表示日期的方法,学会运用 when 引导的特殊疑问句询问日期.Section B 的学习内容主要是安排课内外的一些活动,互相询问课内外活动的安排日程,非常贴近学生的学习生活。
二、教学目标:
1. Knowledge aims:
a. Be able to read the new words correctly: speech, contest, party, trip, calendar etc. b. be able to make sentences with: When is…?It’s…
2. Ability aims:
Improve the listening, speaking and writing abilities of the students.
b. Enable the students to learn how to ask about months and dates.
3. Moral aims:
Ask the date of the events politely .
知识目标:掌握本部分的重点单词及句型when is…;复习、巩固“日期的询问和应答 ” ;
能力目标:学会谈论自己、同学以及家人的生日;并学会自己安排作息时间,制作日程安排。
情感目标:通过互相询问课内外活动的安排日程,学会合理地安排自己的作息时间,养成有规律地生活、学习的好习惯。
三、教学重难点
重点:词汇:基数词1st -- 31st, test ,festival,term,busy,school trip , art festival,
句型:When is Sally’s birthday party? It’s on October fifth.
难点:使用 when 引导的特殊疑问句询问日期;序数词表示日期的方法。
四、教学准备
教师准备 :准备一些课内外活动的图片;制作一个反映日程的日历图片;设计本节课的幻灯片。
学生准备 :复习序数词的构成和日期的表达法;制作个人日历;整理一下学校所开展的活动。
