Use the following conversations to ask and answer our daily activities:

The Ss can understand the test from listening ,and they can speak their daily life with some frequency words .From the pairwork ,the Ss can cooperate with their classmates.

Step 1 Organization
Greeting the class .
Step 2 Duty Report
T:Who’s on duty today ?
S: I am . (or the teacher do this part .)Never to old to learn .
Step 3 Warming up
T:Do you like exercise ?
Ss: Yes/No .
T: I like exercise .I like playing ping-pong ,badminton and basketball,I think it’s good for my health. And I hope you can exercise everyday.
Today we will learn Unit 2 How often do you exercise .
Step 4 Presentation (1a)
1 .Show the studying aims for the Ss .
2 .Show the new words and learn .
Use the pictures and talking to teach the new words.(housework,hardly ever).
3 .Show the picture on the screen.Look at the picture on page 8 .Ask a few Ss to say what they are doing in the picture .
T:Look at the picetre .What are they doing ?
S1: One girl is shopping.
S2:Another girl is reading .
S3:This boy is watching TV…
Ask the Ss who finishes 1a and read 1a loudly.
4.Check the answers on the screen and ask Ss to correct their own activities .
5.Use the answers in 1a to make the sentences .
Step 5 Listening (1b)
1 .Review the adverbs of frequency and ask the Ss to repeat them .
(Play a game) Use the game to practice the adverbs of frequency.
2 .Practice the activities and the adverbs of frequency.
3 .Listen to the conversation. The people are talking about what they do on weekends .Please listen to the tape and write the activities behind the correct frequency words in the list .Make sure everyone understands what to do .
Play the tape for the first time, and Ss only listen . Then play it a second time .This time ask Ss to complete the activity individually . And then check the answers in class .

Step 6 Pairwork
1 .First ask two Ss to read conversation in 1c .
A: What do you do on weekends ?
B: I usually watch TV .
C: Do you go shopping ?
D: No,I never go shopping .
2 .Talk about the students’ activities in your group with the phrases in 1a and the frequency words in 1b.
3 . Expanding .
A: What does John do on weekends?
B: He often goes shopping .
A: What does Nina do on weekends?
B: She usually helps with housework.
4 .Let’s play game
Each group has a task.Group 1 writes the name of our classmates ,group 2 writes the activities,group 3 write the adverbs of frequency and group 4 write the places .
Then,ask the Ss make the sentences with them.
Step 7 Summary
This class we’v learnt some frequency words,such as always ,usually , often , sometimes ,hardly ever ,never… And we can use them to talk about the daily activities and we can cultivate and distinguish good behavior.I hope everyone keeps healthy !

1 .Talk about your daily activities with adverbs of frequency .
2 .Preview the other adverbs of frequency in Section A 2a .
