学习目标:
1. 知识目标:掌握词汇classroom, library, playground, computer room, city, street, hotel, apartment traffic lights, turn right
掌握句型 Where is the computer room? /Is it far from there?/Go straight down _____. Turn right/left at ________. Then you’ll see _______./I can show you. Here it is.
2. 能力目标:学生可以通过所学,礼貌的用英语问路。
3. 情感目标:培养自己的语言表达能力和文章的组织能力。

教学准备:
服装的单词卡片、课件等

教学重、难点:
重点:本科重点词汇Where is the computer room? I can show you. Here it is.的用法
难点:用英语培养他们的方位感。

教学过程:
Part 1: Class Opening and Review
Greeting.
Sing "The wheels on the bus"
Play "clap"
1-2-30, 1-2-31… 1-2-39, 1-2-40, 1-2-50… 1-2-100

Part 2: New Concepts
1. Teach new words.
Introduce street and traffic lights use a picture, say them a few times with the students.
Point to a traffic light. Ask What color is it and What it means (red, stop; yellow, wait; green, go)
Then say the sentences: Red is stop; Yellow is wait; Green is go. Say them a few times with the class.
2. Play the audiotape for N1 as the students follow in their books.

Teach adding numbers.
Write each equation on the blackboard, in numbers, and say them with the students a few times in English.

教师喊一名学生到讲台上来,玩“我说你做”游戏
T: Put your left hand.
T: Put your right hand.
T: Turn right.
T: Turn left.
T: Go straight.
设计意图:通过学生们的形体动作来加深他们对go straight/ turn left/ turn right词汇的记忆和了解。

S2: Go straight and turn left, there is the zoo.

Pair work. Point and talk
在教室四个角分别设立一个点,代表课本上的school, library, restaurant, zoo四个地点。喊同学上来从教师指定的A地出发到B地,边走的同时边说自己是怎样走的。

Part 4: Introduce my school
教师指着教室问学生: This is our new classroom. Do you like our classroom? What’s in the classroom ? 学生做出相应的回答。教师接着问: How many classrooms are there in our school? Do you like our school? What else can you see in the school ? Look! This is a map of our school .接下来教师借助校园分布图教授生词。教师在教学过程中引入句型“It’s on the first floor .”,为下一课时进一步学习序数词做铺垫。
通过教师领读和听音跟读,让学生掌握本课时四个生词 school, classroom, library, playground,的正确读音。在练习library 的发音时,可复习已学过的含辅音连缀的单词,如ice-cream , brother , friend , hungry。
Play a game.
教师快速变幻手中的单词卡片,学生用英语快速回答卡片上是什么。
e.g. T: What is that?
S: It's school.school, s—c—h—o—o—l.
