Lesson plan
I. Teaching aims
1. Knowledge aims: 通过本节课学习,同学们能够熟练地、正确地使用以下单词:
banana, hamburger, tomato, ice-cream, salad, strawberry, pear, milk, bread
2. Ability aims: 熟练运用以下句型:
I like… …/ I don’t like… …
-Do you like… …? -Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.
-She/He likes… … She/He doesn’t like… …
-Does she/he like… …?
-Yes, she/he does. No, she/he doesn’t.
3. Emotion aims: 讨论美食,了解同学间的喜好,养成健康的饮食习惯。
II. Teaching difficulties
1.学会使用交际用语:“Do you like… …?”以及第三人称单数形式;
2.可数名词和不可数名词的分类。
III. Teaching procedure
Step1. Warming up
Greetings.
Show the learning aims.
Memory challenge.(Review the new words and the plurals of them)
Recognize the countable nouns and uncountable nouns.
Step2. Leading-in
1. T: I like strawberries. I don’t like milk. How about you?
S1: I like bananas. I don’t like pears. S2: I like… … I don’t like… …
2. S: I like hamburgers. I don’t like tomatoes. T asks the other Ss: He/She likes… …He/She doesn’t like… …
3. Let Ss practice in pairs:
A: I like.. …I don’t like… … B: He/She likes… …He/She doesn’t like… …
4. Act out.
Step3. Practice
T: Just now, you’ve got it. I like strawberries. Do you like strawberries?
S: Yes, I do./ No, I don’t. (Ask Ss one by one.)
2. Practice the conversations in pairs and then act out.
3. T: Do you like… …? S: Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.
T asks the others: Does he/she like… …? Ss: Yes, he/she does. No, he/she doesn’t.
4. Use the two pictures to practice the conversations and then act out.
5. Tell Ss: If you want to keep fit like that boy in the picture, you should eat more fruits and vegetables. You shouldn’t eat much junk food like hamburgers.
Step4. Listening
1. 1b. Number the conversations.(Catch the key words)
2. Check the answers and read together.
3. 2a. Circle the food you hear.
4. 2b. Listen again and fill in the blanks.

Step5. Writing
1. According to the chart about two students’ likes and dislikes, write a passage.(At least 6 sentences.)
2. Let some students to read and correct them.
Step6. Summary
In this class, we’ve learnt the names of foods, fruits and vegetables and practiced asking and answering questions about likes and dislikes. And remember the rules of noun plurals.
Step7. Homework
1.复习记忆本课所学的单词。
2. 写一写你和你的家人各自的喜好,不少于5句话。
教学反思
本单元section a所呈现的是与谈论喜好与厌恶相关的基本语言知识及其初步运用。这部分内容从呈现食物词汇开始,通过视、听等方式输入信息,并引出本单元主要句型:Do you like…? 及其回答Yes, I do / No, I don’t.接着设计了一个听力练习,要求圈出所听到的食物以及补全对话,强化记忆所学词汇和初学句型。然后教材设计了一个结对活动,以此操练主语是第三人称单数时句型的变化以及回答。并借此突出本单元的语法重点。最后教材设计的Writing起到了引导学生初步综合运用所学语言的作用,使学生在富有挑战性的活动中主动运用所学语言,落实新知。由于本单元的主题贴近学生生活,学生很喜欢该主题,上课气氛比较热烈。课堂布置的任务使学生在完成的过程中不知不觉地掌握了单词与句型,从而达到教学目标。但在授课过程中也存在一些不足:
1.对教材的整合不够合理。今后要认真研究教材,科学处理教学内容,精心设计教案,在课堂上做到有的放矢。
2、英语组织教学能力有待提高.用英语组织教学,可以烘托英语课堂气氛,增强学生的求知欲,提高学生的听说能力。这一环节非常重要,即是学生练习听力的良好机会,也是学生学习与模仿的途径之一。用英语讲课要可以从最简单的日常英语开始,然后逐步加深。开始可以配以动作、表情或适当的解释说明,尽量避免用汉语讲述。逐步使学生沉浸在浓厚的英语气氛之中,通过英语交流,提高听说能力。
