一、教学目标与要求
1、能够听、说、读、写1~5( 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th)序数词及其缩写形式。
2、能正确使用句型When is…? It’s on…询问并回答生日、节日以及活动的具体时间。
二、教学重、难点分析
重点：1，重点：听、说、读、写序数词和具体日期的表达。要求学生能在具体的情景中运用词汇。
难点：1，序数词的构词法及缩写形式。2，具体日期的表达。
三、课前准备
1，本单元中的单词卡片。
2．光盘。
3，本课相关的PPT。
四、教学步骤
（一）热身（Warm-up）
1. Greeting. T：How are you? Nice to meet you.
Ss: …
T: Who is your best friend in our class?
A: B is my best friend.
T: What’s her favourite food?
A: B, What’s your favourite food.
教师以同样方式提问学生最喜欢的动物，水果，季节等。
（二）新课呈现（Presentation）
1，呈现学校图片，T：Look, this is our beautiful school. Can I ask you some questions? Where is the science room?
S: It’s on the first floor. 教师板书first，并写下1st，并带读。
T：Where is the library?
S: It’s on the second floor. 教师板书second，并写下2nd, 并带读。
教师以同样方式提问class401和Miss Chen’s office, 然后教学third和fourth。
2，教师引导学生提问教师， How old are you? What’s her favourite food? What’s her favourite colour? What’s her favourite season? 并一一呈现答案。
3，T：I like summer best. Because summer is a special season for me. Why? Can you guess?学生进行自由猜测，然后说出Because your birthday is in summer.
4, 引导学生提问：Miss Chen, when is your birthday?板书下来，然后继续让学生猜测月份。学生猜出后板书My birthday is in August. 并且直接呈现It’s on August 10th.
5，T：I like birthday because I like gifts. 让学生猜测第一个盒子里是什么东西，然后呈现图片，并提问When is the chocolates’ birthday? 先让学生尝试着说，然后再出示It’s on June 5th. 教学fifth。教师用同样方式提问cookies和cake的生日，并教授日期，中间可以穿插句型 Is it’s birthday on…
(三)操练（Practice）
1,T: Birthday is special for us. And maybe we can get some specials. Here is a story for you.
2,呈现图片，T: Where is it ?
S: This is a restaurant. T: Whose restaurant is this? S: Hui Tailang’s.
T: What time is it? S: It’s 11:00. T: It’s time for … S: Lunch.
T: Look, who is here? Ss: Lan Yangyang. T: It’s lunch time. Lan Yangyang is hungry. So he says: Who can invite邀请me?
3,引导学生根据懒羊羊的话，理解告示内容。“Is today your birthday? Free(免费) lunch for you and your friends April 23rd.” 然后让学生猜测懒羊羊的好主意是什么。
4，懒羊羊遇见了美羊羊。指导学生模仿着去读。
L：Hello，Mei Yangyang，when is your birthday?
M: It’s on March 5th.喜羊羊出现，让学生自己来说书问句，并做表演。懒羊羊和今天生日的沸羊羊一起去灰太狼的餐厅吃饭，然后中了陷阱，最后喜羊羊搭救了他们。
5，T: April is special for them. Because they have a special birthday together. April is special for Amy and John, too.引导学生自读课文，回答问题。
6，跟读，课文。回答问题， When is Easter? When is April Fool’s Day.
7, T: Which month is special for you?
S: June.
T: Why?
S: Because Children’s Day is in June.
T: When is Children’s Day?
S: It’s on June 1st.
T: What will you do?
S: I will…
教师做两组示范，学生结对操练。
